Nordic Quick Systems’ patented solution may be applied to all types and sizes of sprocket, for example conveyor sprockets, roller sprockets (in single and multiple rows), driving drums and smooth tail wheels. The concept is also applied to cogwheels.
The sprocket is a combination of a body and several wear parts. The wear parts the easily be rotated or replaced while the chain and sprocket still are mounted on the conveyor, which generates decreased maintenance costs, minimized risks for the personnel, increased production efficiency and reduced environmental footprint.
Nordic Quick Systems’ sprockets are available in many different types of material. The wheel body is usually made of standard structural steel and the wear parts of through-hardened steel. However, the wear parts may also be made of technical plastic.
All our sprockets are supplied with wear indicators. One wear part for each sprocket is provided with markings on its sides. When the wear reaches these markings, the wear parts should be rotated or replaced to avoid the risk of breakdown. (The wear indicator is not provided in the USA, Canada or Japan.)
Furthermore, we can also offer standard sprockets, as well as split sprockets, for applications where maintenance is carried out less frequently and in a more convenient way.
